Confirmation Classes
The word confirmation means “with firmness”. For our 7th-12th grade students at FUMC, confirmation means a continuation of their lifelong faith journey. Confirmation classes include an overview of the Christian faith, Scripture, history and heritage, practices, beliefs and commitments as United Methodist Christians. The confirmation class will provide a loving environment in which young persons can explore as well as experience the faith through the Christian community, relationships, spiritual disciplines, service projects and other activities.
These classes are offered every other year.  Confirmation began August 11, 2019.

Sunday School
(August-May)

How do faith and our relationship with Christ affect my life? In this group the youth struggle with personal issues & current events using the Bible and discussing ways to make the world better.  Middle School (7th-8th grade) meets in room 312 (they are all participating in the Confirmation curriculum this year) and High School (9th-12th grade) meets in room 316.
