FUMC offers a library of over 2,000 books, audio-books, videos, and magazines. These items offer a range of topics for adults and children, including opportunities for education, inspiration, and entertainment. You can search the library’s collection via the library’s web-accessible database. Click the search button above to access the catalog. You can search the database by author, title, subject, keyword or category (list of categories to the right). To see what’s new in the library, scroll across the items on the bottom of the catalog screen. Once you find an item (or items) in the catalog, you can initiate an online request by clicking on the BOOK BIN link at the top of the screen.  Send an email to “bpoor@fumccolumbus.org” stating your request.

 

 

 

The library’s juvenile book collection includes titles that are on the approved BCS Accelerated Reader list. These items can be found in the juvenile collection in the library or in Room 316. Items are marked with an Accelerated Reader label and indicate the respective reader level and points, inside the book cover. To search the FUMC’s collection of AR books, access the Library’s catalog (above) and enter “Accelerated Reader” as a SUBJECT search. Entries will display AR level and AR points.
