The HOPE Committee (Hospitality Outreach Promoting Evangelism) is a group with the gift of hospitality. They organization, plan, and execute a series of meals and gatherings throughout the church year. These givings provide meals, take-away lunches, and even dessert to groups within the church as well as many outside of the church, from the wider community. Greeter
If hospitality is your gift, please consider volunteering to greet worshipers at the worship service. A two-week consecutive commitment is appreciated.

VIP Visitation
This program provides joy, cheer, conversation and connection to our home bound congregation. A weekly commitment to phone calls, cards, or visits is appreciated.

The NoEL Project
This outreach program is held during Fall break, Christmas break, and Spring break. In conjunction with LCNFC the NOEL (No Empty Lunchboxes) Project provides sack lunches for 75-100 of our neighborhood children each day of the school breaks. These children are normally on the school lunch program when school is in session. The project fills the void and the stomachs of these children. We can always use volunteers to prepare and pack lunches or deliver.

Chocolate Sunday
Chocolate Sunday is a tradition at FUMC where we gather together between services the Sunday before Ash Wednesday to share a sweet chocolatey treats with one another. Everyone is welcomes to partake and enjoy the chocolate provided by the HOPE group.
Celebration of Graduation
Each spring we celebrate the high school graduates in our congregation with a meal together.

Family Picnic
Family Picnic is an annual event where the entire congregation enjoys a fresh meal outdoors. It is a way for our church family to kick the summer off right.

Easter Sunrise Breakfast
The Easter Sunrise Breakfast is a congregation-wide breakfast served after the Easter Sunrise Service.
