The Youth
Group meets every Sunday evening from 5:30 to 7:30pm in room
316 for fun, friends, food, and faith. Bring a friend! Contact

Confirmation Class - Beginning February, 2012
The
word confirmation means "with firmness". For our 7th-12th
grade students at FUMC, confirmation means a continuation of
their lifelong faith journey. Confirmation classes include an
overview of the Christian faith, Scripture, history and heritage,
practices, beliefs and commitments as United Methodist Christians.
The confirmation class will provide a loving environment in which
young persons can explore as well as experience the faith through
the Christian community, relationships, spiritual disciplines,
service projects and other activities.

Sunday School
Junior
High and Senior High students are welcomed to room 312 for great
discussions at 10:10 each Sunday morning! We will be learning
more about our faith, our heritage and ourselves as we continue
our journeys with Christ.
VBS
Each
summer, children (age three through grade six), youth, and adult
helpers spend a wonderful week together learning, serving, and
having fun. Through Bible stories, music, outreach projects,
crafts, worship, games, and other activities, we learn more about
being children of God.
Youth Volunteer Opportunities
Looking
for ways to do something for your church or your community? A
few ideas... babysitting during church meetings, doing yardwork
for church members, Housing Partnership volunteer, work at VBS.
