Prayer in First United Methodist Church

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition,
with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." Philippians 4:6

Prayer is an intregal part of the faith journey. FUMC recognizes and values prayer as a time of reflection and communication with God, our Father, made possible by our intercessor Jesus Christ. Our church makes prayer a part of every facet of programming. We encourage others to be in prayer and to bring their prayer concerns to any of our prayer programs.

Our prayer programs currently include the Morning & Evening Telephone Prayer Circles, Prayer Cards available in our church services, and our Thursday Noon Prayer Group.

If you have a prayer concern that you would like our church to pray for, please complete the following form and submit through our online office or contact our church office at 812-372-2851.
