Dear FUMC Family,

     I bring you all greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and may God's grace and peace be yours in abundance. It is with great joy and anticipation that I write to you for the first time!

     In the book of Jeremiah, the twenty-ninth chapter and eleventh verse. God speaks a word of encouragement through the Prophet; "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future." God has certainly proven this prophecy to be true in my life and in the life of my family many times over. As a way of initially introducing myself and my family, I would like to share a bit of our background with you.

     My wife Rachel and I were both born and raised in and around the Anderson area. We are the proud parents of three young men who have added a blessing to our lives

     I received my Associate Degree in Liberal Arts from A.U. in 1997 and graduated Cum Laude in 1999, with a BA in Christian Ministries and Sociology. I received my M.Div from Christian Theological Seminary this past May and was commissioned as a Probationary Elder in The United Methodist Church at Annual Conference this year.
